Calculate sale prices instantly. Enter the original price and discount percentage to see your savings and final price.
For multiple discounts, apply them one at a time. For example, a 20% off + extra 10% off: calculate 20% off first, then use that result as the new original price for the 10% discount.
Yes! Just use the $ symbol as a placeholder. The math is the same for any currency.
If you know the sale price and discount percentage: divide the sale price by (1 − discount%). For example, $80 after 20% off → $80 ÷ 0.80 = $100 original. Enter values into the calculator and work backwards to verify.
In most jurisdictions, sales tax is calculated on the discounted (sale) price, not the original price. Our calculator shows the pre-tax discounted price. To get the final total, multiply the result by (1 + your local tax rate).
BOGO deals are essentially 50% off when both items are equally priced. With unequal prices, the effective discount = (cheaper item price ÷ total of both). For example: $20 + $10 BOGO = $10 off $30 = 33% discount. Use the calculator with the combined original price and total savings.
